WHO WE ARE
Lomito was created by LBI local Max Oehlmann in the summer of 2022. Max has been cooking since the age of 15, beginning in local LBI restaurants before ultimately attending and graduating from The Culinary Institute of America. After the CIA Max worked in NYC at a couple of high end restaurants including most notably the Michelin starred Casa Mono. As a result of the Covid shutdown, in 2020 Max moved back to the LBI area and began working on the idea and concept of what would become Lomito. Max has roots in Latin America with his father being from Chile, and has travelled there several times. These experiences, combined with the years of professional cooking, bring you a new definition of what street food and fast food can be.
